How this table is built
OpenStreetMap data, read 2026-08-06, licensed ODbL. An empty cell means nothing of that kind is recorded within 2 km, which is not proof that nothing is there: OpenStreetMap coverage is thinner in villages than in towns. Distances are straight lines, not travel times.
Why Corfu first?
Corfu combines international recognition, direct European access, varied property types, fragmented local inventory, and a manageable geographic boundary. The MVP tests whether an island-first experience makes one market materially easier to explore before any second island is added.
What is not published yet
Travel times, seasonality, year-round service levels, and internet availability are part of the product design but are not published. Travel time needs a routing source; seasonality needs observations across a year; broadband availability in Greece has no open, machine-readable source we can cite, so a coverage claim here would be a guess wearing the clothes of a fact. Distances and counts above are calculated from OpenStreetMap positions and say so. Nothing on this page is estimated without saying so.
